I only see this covered in German (and it’s probably in Czech which I don’t read): southeast of Prague a new church building is being built to be used by Catholics, Hussites, and Bohemian Brethren. Church of the Holy Trinity. It is the first church to be built in Bohemia in 80 years. If anyone sees a report in English, let us know.

If you do a Google search with these words, kath web prags michael-klang, you will find the report in German, but Google offers a translation. It’s not a good translation, but you get the idea.

From a Czech friend:
Dear David,
The journalists do their usual job. I find two items in this news report symptomatic:
1) The Church โof the Most Holy Trinityโ will be open to all believers, but with special consideration for the inhabitants of the already-existing hospice for the dying to which they are connected. Up to ten patients will be able to attend the liturgical celebrations in their beds on a balcony which preserves their privacy. From this we see that ecumenism is successful among those dying in the Czech Republic. Is there anywhere else where this works?
2) Whether the announced construction time of three years will be sufficient, however, will depend upon economic developments. Economic development is simply terrible and it is getting worse. I fear that not only the duration of construction, but even the entire project is uncertain.
There are also good signs in our country, but unfortunately they donโt write about that in the newspapers.
With cordial greetings,
Petr
