With those words of the sung Latin chant introit (“Let us all rejoice in the Lord”), the monks of St. John’s began Mass on Sunday, July 11th for the Feast of St. Benedict. We rejoice to have two fine young men making solemn (life) vows. God willing, our 6 novices will make first vows – 4 at St. John’s on Exaltation of the Holy Cross, 2 in Japan on Christ the King.
