GOSPEL COMMUNION: Sacred Heart of Jesus

Friday, June 19, 2020: Solemnity of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

The antiphon is taken directly from the final lines of the Gospel reading:

Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am meek and humble of heart (Matthew 11:28-29)

Psalm verses are drawn from Ps 33(32), in the course of which we sing that

Our hearts find joy in the Lord,
We trust in God’s holy name.
May your love be upon us, O Lord.
As we place all our hope in you.
