Annibale Gammarelli, Tailor of the Popes, RIP

GammarelliAnnibale Gammarelli, co-owner of the famous ecclesiastical tailor ship near the Pantheon in Rome, passed away on Tuesday, La Repubblica reports. The funeral will be tomorrow. Annibale belonged to the fifth generation of Gammarellis running the firm since it was founded in 1798. May he rest in peace.

    Presumably – his children were already involved in running the place, and they do a brisk business serving clergy from around the world, so I imagine things will continue as usual.
