Mary-and-Her-Son

The CD was produced by Jade Music of Milan Records, and is carried exclusively by Ignatius Press. Click here to see the pre-release announcement and hear excerpts of selected tracks.

The selections of the CD celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus, son of Mary, with chants from Advent, Christmas, Lent, Ordinary Time, and Marian feast days. The CD is entirely in Latin, including Latin psalm verses with the Mass propers, and a few selections include medieval rudimentary harmony (“organum”).

Will this recording be available through iTunes or other digital services?

  2. Can’t wait to hear this. Hoping it will be available on ITunes. Like seeing the ecumenical dimension of this, since it was released by Ignatius Press! ๐Ÿ™‚ JK
