Canadian National Bulletin on Liturgy online

The National Liturgy Office of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops has announced that the entire collection of the National Bulletin on Liturgy has been professionally scanned. It is now available on-line on the National Liturgy Office website.

The on-line version of the Liturgical Calendar for 2015-2016 will be available under “Liturgical Calendar” by June 27.

  1. Thanks for bringing this to our attention – this is a great resource for the history of the liturgical reforms in Canada, especially the earlier issues.

    In a digital age, it would be fantastic if all bishops’ conferences did a similar thing. I’d think some of it would make for fascinating reading!

    It’s fascinating that the first bulletin was dedicated to giving music for chanting the Roman Canon. Presumably later bulletins were taken more to heart.

    The USCCB published a 35 year compilation. Good luck getting them to put it online. It might be bad for their copyright…. Terror of Terrors!
