Jerry Galipeau Leaving WLP

Hearty gratitude to Jerry Galipeau for his excellent work at World Library Publications (WLP), most recently as Vice President and Chief Publishing Officer. Today is his last day at WLP, after 17 years there. During this time he served at WLP’s Worship Resources Editor, and then leader of World Library Publications and member of the Senior Management Team of the J. S. Paluch Company.

galipeau_jerry_rdax_136x180Galipeau has accepted the position of Executive Director of Mission Integration at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. He will return to New England, where he was born and reared, to begin his new duties on June 26.

Galipeau has blogged at Gotta Sing, Gotta Pray for over 8 years. He has spent 15 years as director of liturgy and music in parishes in Florida and Illinois. He has presented through the U.S. and Canada on the RCIA, liturgical spirituality, ritual music, evangelization, and adult spiritual formation.

Pray Tell wishes Jerry rich blessings in this new chapter of his life!

  1. Congratulations and best wishes to Jerry! He will be missed in the world of pastoral liturgy, but the world of hospital mission is gaining a wonderful advocate.

    Hartford is closing lots of parishes right now, so that whole area is in for big changes. Hope it soon feels like home nonetheless.
