Applications are currently being accepted for the 2015 season of the National Catholic Youth Choir (NCYC). NCYC brings together Catholic high school singers for a unique choral camp and multi-state concert tour. This year’s camp and tour will take place from June 15 – June 30. Students entering 9th – 12th grades in the following school year are eligible to apply.
Applications can be found online at www.CatholicYouthChoir.org and are due March 27, 2015.
The camp takes place on the campus of Saint John’s University in Collegeville.
Check out the video from the 2014 season, and please consider encouraging Catholic youth from your parish, school or community to apply.
The piece that the youth choir is singing in the video is “Antiphon of St. Martin of Tours” which was composed by Timothy Dusenbury – member of the NCYC staff and 2014 graduate in Liturgical Music from St. John’s School of Theology.
