Notes from a Parish Liturgist

Some months back I was invited by the editor of LTP‘s Pastoral Liturgy to prepare bimonthly notes for liturgy committees and others preparing for and celebrating the liturgy in Roman Catholic parishes. The first in the series, A Time to Bless, A Time to Anoint, appeared this week. Comments and suggestions for future issues are certainly welcome.

  1. Excellent – thanks for the direction, suggestions, and recommendations. Only wish that our parish had a true liturgy director who was open to using resources such as LTP…..your blessing of chalk and writing the magi names at each home is a wonderful idea – making liturgy come alive……a way to “ressource” a historical tradition within our pilgrim journey.
